of deer, hiking, and rifles

Today I got to go shooting with Jessay and her family and it was AWESOME. I got to shoot a revolver (which I hated because the trigger was finicky), a little tiny handgun that I can't remember the name of, a Kimber (not sure what kind), and two rifles, one of which I don't know the name. The other was an AK-47 and I LOVED it - almost no recoil and fairly light. Pain to aim though.
The second gun in this picture is sort've like the AK-47 we shot - I don't really know guns too well...

Anywho, after we left the shooting range, we went hiking at a reservoir in New Jersey, which was fun except for the fact that we took a detour off the trail and walked on the shore of the reservoir for a while, until we got to a dead end and decided to walk up this HUGE hill to get back to the trail. Walking up that hill alone was one heck of a workout. And then we went along this insanely uneven, rocky terrain for like another forty-five minutes so by the time we got back to the parking lot I was ready to collapse - I am NOT exactly an athlete. But on the up-side, it was a gorgeous day, the reservoir was beautiful, the views were fantastic, and we got to see a bunch of deer ^.^ And on the way up the hill we found a really cool animal skull - we think it's a deer skull but we aren't sure.
