the internet gods were pissed at me for a while, but it's all good now...

I have a semi-excuse for not posting in a while - my Internet was down for about a week (which really pissed me off to NO END because I luuuurv the Internet......). Only we got it back a few days ago so I could totally have posted forever ago..... So, not much of an excuse, really. ^.^ By the way, it is SUCH an ego-boost when you log onto Facebook after not checking it for a week and only have seven notifications.... <--(slight sarcasm there)

My sister has apparently decided to participate in NaNoWriMo, thereby making me feel like a complete slacker for having decided NOT to participate....It's just that I can't write under pressure, and writing a whole friggin novel - 50,000 words - in thirty days sounds like it would make me go on a psycho chainsaw killing spree about two weeks in.... I mean, sometimes it takes me twice that time just to come up with a decent plot without letting my writting ADD get the better of me.... *curses Too Many Ideas Syndrome into the yawning depths of Tartarus*

Crap I just made a reference to Greek mythology. *puts on crash helmet and hides under table waiting for Voyagefan to react*

The opening night for the musical revue is this Saturday, and I'd be really nervous/uber-excited if I was actually IN it.... Okay so maybe I'm griping a little too much. I had my chance to be in a dance and I declined, and I have one scene onstage plus I get to hold up the sing-along sign during a number ^_^ But sitting through rehearsals every Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday gets a little old....Oh well. I don't regret getting involved, because everyone is really fun and AMAZINGLY talented (although I do get more than a little envious at times....why can I be talented too?? T.T)

In other news, I HAVE A JOB. I'm gonna be working at the front desk at the YMCA, which, granted, is only a minimum wage job, but ya gotta start somewhere. Plus I like the Y.

Auditions for my co-op's production of Cinderella are this week and next week, and I feel like I SHOULD be nervous...But I've been in the music theater class for six years, and the auditions are super-low-pressure. Plus it's my senior year (O.O WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN? WHEN DID I BECOME A SENIOR???) so I've got a good chance of getting a lead. *crosses fingers*

Closing thought: Bored? Go on Facebook, pick the profile of a random friend and go to their "Mutal Friends" section and proceed to yell "HOW DO THEY KNOW EACH OTHER???!??". Is fun.
