it. is. too. hot.

While there are many things I love (or at least really really like) about summer - e.g. Rita's, no school, etc. - there are many things I really really HATE.

Like, the temperature.

At my house, we only have air conditioning downstairs, so it's like an oven upstairs and only the most daring people can brave the heat in order to sleep up there. So, basically, apart from trips upstairs to the bathroom we more or less live in the dining room (where the air conditioner is) and the living room. We all sleep downstairs too (fyi, the living room floor = NOT comfortable).

Needless to say, this gets rather old after a while.

Apart from the horrible heat, not much else going on around here. Knight & Day was really good. Predictable but very good. Rose and I smuggled our own snacks in, we're so bad ^.^ After the movie we realized that we were stranded at the shopping complex (where the theater is) for the next few hours, until my mom got out of work. Our solution? Go to Walmart, of course. We looked at the entire toy section and some of the movie section before heading over to a little Chinese buffet for dinner. It was a pretty awesome night.
