PLEASE no encores...

Aaaaand the show is over and done with. Despite an absolute TRAIN WRECK of a first dress rehearsal and an average second dress rehearsal, we had a very good first show and an awesome second show. Just don't ANYBODY ask for an encore because we are all drop-dead exhausted. :P I'm 99% certain that I'm now getting sick. Ho hum.

Man yesterday was a loooong day. Had to get up at 8:00 to shower and get ready and go to the church where we had the show. And then I - along with the rest of the class - was stuck there for like eight hours. We were all extremely nervous because of the aforementioned horrendous first dress rehearsal, but it all came together - it always does. We are total pros. First show went very well, despite one or two awkward pauses due to someone forgetting their line (seriously, if the pause is THAT long, Mr. Sound Person, START THE MUSIC CUE. Eesh).

Last night was insanely fun, though - Hannah and me went home with Jessie and pigged out on waffle fries, popcorn chicken, mozzerella sticks, mini-pizzas, chips, and MOUNTAIN DEW; played Truth Or Dare; and went to bed around eleven... Hannah fell asleep early (she fell asleep in like the middle of a sentence, it was hilarious) but Jessie and I stayed up till around one singing Taylor Swift. This morning we watched Mamma Mia (which I have never seen before) before going back to the church (it was a fun drive, since there were four of us - Jessie, Hannah, me, and my friend Skye - crammed into the back seat because no one wanted to ride shot gun, EVEN though Jessie lost the Nose Goes game.... rule-breaker) for the second show.

When today's show was over we had to dismantle the set and my family had to lug like ALL of the set and props and crap home - sometimes it's a pain being the director's daughter. But then we got Chinese take-out for dinner which pretty much made up for the inconvenience (I got my lo mein fix, heh heh).

Four more blog posts to my 100th post :) Not sure what that post is gonna be about, suppose it really doesn't matter.... It's not like anyone cares, lol....
