happy birthday to ma blog!!!

As some of you might know (only if you really REALLY pay obsessive attention to dates, but I doubt any of you do...) today is my blog's first birthday. Apparently the past year has not been a total fail because at least a couple of you are still reading this blog... Tank hoo :)

Christmas was fantasmabulistic this year. Ma sista and I are super-happy cuz we got the first half of Season Four of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. Unfortunately, we have yet to see Seaman Kowalski with his shirt off, dang it... Um, long story. Go to Voyagefan's blog for clarification. OH YAH, I also got a book of letters written by Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain (and I think only my friend Hannah could possibly understand how insanely cool that is but oh well...). So far the book is very interesting.

I'm going to a Lord of the Rings marathon tomorrow!! Unfortunately I couldn't come up with a costume... Ho hum. I know it'll be fun, but it won't be nearly as fun as the one I went to at Gandalf's house a year or two ago... *sighs nostalgically* That was the historic day on which FIZZY ALE was invented.... Epic.

CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

Ahh, Christmas. Tis the season of holiday movies/TV specials, all those hideous inflateable Santa Claus balloons that people put up in their front yards, and annoying yet endearing Christmas carols that get stuck in your head for hours on end. I finally got my shopping done - didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would (of course, considering I can only afford to buy gifts for my immediate family, it's not that surprising...). I hope everyone survived the "great paralyzing blizzard of 2009"... I wasn't worried, since I know just what to do in a blizzard - reading the Little House books a gazillion times was a smart thing to do.

Well, I'm almost on Christmas break, apart from finishing up math, Spanish, and SAT prep... :P Not sure which subject I hate the most. On the upside I didn't have any co-op homework assigned to me during the break. :D

While my sister is going nuts because she can't get her hands on the movie "Stormbreaker" for another two days, I am anxiously awaiting "Iron Man 2". Sucks that I have to wait until MAY.... And there's also Part I of "Deathly Hallows", no idea when THAT comes out.... Who's got the longer harder wait here, sis?

By the way, this is my new true love, Wolf from "The 10th Kingdom".... I'm afraid that he's mine, sister dear - I saw him four years before you did!!!

guilty of bloggage negligence

Uh... yeah, sorry for not posting in forever..... Life is kinda dull at the moment. School's been going so-so - kind've behind in a couple subjects but I'm doing well with my co-op classes. I even actually understood what we did in chem lab this week (a real breakthrough for me, trust me on this...). Even math is going pretty well.

Aaaaah Christmas is a'comin'!! And I haven't even started my shopping yet.... crap.... On the upside, it's "Nutcracker" season - we saw it yesterday like we do every year (although last year I saw it twice, as Kyle knows well lol).

Oh yah, writer's block sucks. Just FYI.
